Music Ministry "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." Music is a very important part of our worship at St. Paul's. The congregation enjoys a wide variety of music from classical to contemporary, led by a variety of instruments, including pipe organ, grand piano, guitar and percussion. We use either hymnal or on screen projection to sing hymns and praise songs, both old and new. We also appreciate special music presented by our choir and soloists. St. Paul's Choir, with about 11 regular members, performs at most of our morning worship services. We rehearse each Wednesday during the school year at 7:00pm. Choir members enjoy the fellowship of singing and praying together, and they love to minister to the congregation in song. St. Paul's Worship Team, which includes piano, guitar, bass, synthesizer, drums and singers, encourages worshipers to enter into the Lord's presence and focus on Him. We rehearse at 5:30pm each Wednesday evening before choir practice, and lead worship nearly every Sunday of the year. Lighting, sound, hearing helpers and video projection are provided by a group of young people who work behind the scenes to enhance our worship experience. |
