St. Paul's has a rich musical heritage, and we employ a wide variety of music from classical to contemporary to multicultural music. We are fortunate to have a lovely 9' Baldwin concert grand piano and a real pipe organ, and we also enjoy state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment. We sing old and new hymns, gospel songs and contemporary songs, with organ or worship team. Lyrics are projected.
St. Paul's Choir, one of the oldest church choirs in the Twin Cities, was formed in 1872, soon after the congregation was organized. We continue that long history today as we sing anthems at Sunday morning worship services and special events.
Choir Rehearsal is at 7 pm on Wednesdays.
St. Paul's hosts Global Worship Celebration, a concert of prayer and praise in many languages and music styles. International musicians from all over the world who live in the Twin Cites perform in their own ethnic styles. Global Worship Celebration II on April 26, 2009 featured Hispanic, Russian, Taiwanese, Ethiopian and East African musicians.
